Are you ready to purchase the HTC Flyer? The Gingerbread-running tablet is available now on Best Buy's site, it's priced at $499.99 and said to ship in 1-2 weeks. But what about the much talked-about Digital Pen, which will set this 7-inch slate apart from the others? It's apparently going to have to be purchased separately, and it'll cost $80.
There's also a black leather pouch listed under available accessories, which goes for $35, but the most important accessory is the special stylus, which will allow you to draw, write, and paint on the tablet's touchscreen.
The special HTC Scribe technology is able to detect when a person touches the screen on purpose, or when it's done by accident, such as when you're resting your hand and slightly touching the screen.
If you want the bundle pack, you can get both items for $109, which will save you $5. All the HTC Flyer accessories are expected to ship within 1-2 weeks, as is the tablet itself.
